RPG Bike Fitting & Aerodynamic Testing
Ride faster, more comfortably — a fit that balances aero, power and comfort.
Short summary:
We combine pre-visit video screening, a full face-to-face bike fit and performance-grade aero testing so your position maximises power, comfort and aerodynamic efficiency.
What we do
Pre-visit video analysis: confirm equipment readiness and identify any crank/stem changes needed before the in-person fit.
Biomechanical screen & interview: assess flexibility, torso length, leg length and previous bike issues.
Position geometry: measure hip/knee/ankle/torso angles, reach and stack.
Saddle pressure mapping: match saddle shape to sit-bones and pelvic tilt.
Cleat optimisation: use precision adapters for expanded fore/aft, medial/lateral and rotational options.
Detailed report: annotated photos, measured angles and final settings.
Who it’s for:
Time-trialists, triathletes and road riders chasing marginal gains, comfort, or to solve recurring saddle/pain issues.
Typical in-person session (90–180 min)
Warm-up, static checks, dynamic pedalling capture, saddle & cleat trials, on-bike validation and debrief.
Optional Aerodynamic Testing (Lab 3D / Nabaflow)
Capture 3D images of up to two position options and two helmet/hydration configurations.
Use Nabaflow to compute CdA differences and projected watt savings.
Duration: +~1 hour. Deliverable: CdA report, 3D visuals and recommendations.
Outdoor Aerodynamic Testing
Duration: Typically 4–8 hours (half to full day).
Use leading outdoor aero sensors to measure real-world CdA / power relationships across front-end tweaks, bottle placement and helmet choice.
Deliverable: Outdoor aero report with validated position & equipment recommendations. Typical cost range: $1,000–$1,500 AUD depending on permutations.
